Chili Mac Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

1 cup chopped onion

2 clove garlic, minced

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp chili powder

1 can Mexican-style diced tomatoes, undrained (14.5 ounce)

1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

1 packet Taco Seasoning Mix

3/4 cup uncooked elbow macaroni

3/4 cup water

Directions

1. Saute the green bell pepper, onion and garlic in dutch oven or other pot over medium heat 5 - 8 minutes.

2. Salt the beef and add to dutch oven and cook until the meat is brown

3. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover tightly and simmer 15 minutes.

4. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes. Top with grated cheese if desired.
