Cincinnati Chili

Cincinnati chili is a regional style of chili characteristically served over spaghetti or it can be used as a hot dog chili recipe. The chili is prepared with an unusual blend of wonderful spices that includes cinnamon, chocolate or cocoa, allspice, and Worcestershire. Trust me you will love this dish! It is one of my favorites.

Skyline Chili Recipe

You might be familiar with a Skyline chili recipe. Skyline chili is a 'Cincinnati style' chili with its distinct flavor coming from chocolate and cinnamon. The first Skyline chili restaurant was opened in Cincinnati in 1949 and named for its panoramic view of downtown Cincinnati.

Lovers of this dish order it by number - Two, Three, Four, or Five Way. Let your guest create their own final product of this prize winning chili recipe. It is about Having It Your Way, Every Way

Two-Way: Serve it over spaghetti

Three-way: Additionally topped with shredded Cheddar cheese

Four-Way: Additionally topped with chopped onions

Five-Way: Additionally topped with kidney beans

Personally my favorite is Four-way. When I am in the mood for a beanless chili recipe I make a skyline chili recipe. Yummy!
