Fantastic Ground Beef Chili with BeansThis ground beef chili is one of my family's favorite recipes for ground beef. You will list this one in your recipe holder as dinner recipes easy with beef. I also put a batch in the freezer for a future dinner. Ingredients 1 cup onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 3 cloves of garlic, chopped 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 pound ground beef 2 cans diced tomatoes 1 can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon chili powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin 1/4 teaspoon ground oregano 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric 1/4 teaspoon ground basil Directions 1. Add olive oil, onions, green pepper and garlic to dutch oven and saute until tender. 2. Add salt to ground beef and cook 3. Combine spices together then add to ground meat 4. Add red wine vinegar 5. Add tomatoes and let simmer for 30 minutes in covered pot 6. Add kidney beans and cook for a 10 more minutes
Have Ground Beef Chili Your Way, Every Way1. Serve over white or brown rice2. Garnish with grated cheddar cheese, onions and sour cream 3. Substitute black beans for the kidney beans 4.
