Easy Ground Beef Chili
Ingredients1 pound ground sirloin 2-1/2 teaspoons chili powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin, ground 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 2 10-ounce cans of tomatoes with green chilies - undrained 1 can dark kidney beans (rinsed and drained) 1-1/2 cups water 2 Tablespoon ketchup 1-1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 bouillon cube Directions Easy dutch oven recipes are simple to prepare. Season ground meat with the salt and pepper. Place the meat in dutch oven over medium heat. Cook meat until it is done. At this point if you have used a ground meat with a higher fat content, either drain the beef on a paper towel or use a baster to remove grease from the dutch oven. After this step sprinkle the chili powder and cumin to the meat. Saute for approximately 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients to the pot. Bring to a boil , reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Turn off heat and cover. If time permits, let the chili sit in the pot for 15 minutes to improve the flavor even more. This ground beef chili makes 5 cups.
