Hamburger Meat Recipes

Hamburger meat recipes are perfect for chili and quick easy dinner recipes.

Make an Easy Chili Recipe

This easy chili recipe is one of my family's favorite recipes for ground beef. The cocoa adds a unique and wonderful flavor

Ingredients

1 T Olive Oil

1 lb Ground Meat

1 cup onion, Chopped

5 cloves garlic, minced

2 cans diced tomatoes with juice (14.5 ounce)

2 cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed (14.5 ounce)

1/2 cup beef broth

3 T Tomato Paste

2 T Chili powder

2 T Cocoa Powder, unsweetened

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp cayenne

Directions

In dutch oven add olive oil. Cook onion and garlic over medium- low heat for 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste, chili powder and cocoa. Stir and cook for 1 minute.

Salt ground meat. Add to dutch oven and cook until no longer pink.

Add cumin and cayenne and cook for 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes, beans and beef broth and cook uncovered for 20 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes prior to serving.

Have It Your Way, Every Way

1. Make this easy chili recipe with black beans instead of pinto beans.

2. Add chopped green chilies or jalapenos for additional flavor or spice.

3. Serve with toppings of sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, etc.
