Simple Chili Recipe

This simple chili recipe is so easy and requires very little preparation time. The trick is using a yummy store bought salsa.



Thick & Chunky Red and Black Bean Chili Recipe

This simple and easy red and black bean chili recipe one of best free easy chili recipes you will enjoy making. It is great for a busy night when you don't have much time to cook and do not want to go out. It will become one of your favorite easy recipes for ground beef you will make. I like to serve it with one of our vegetable salad recipes listed at the bottom of our Chili Side Dishes page.


Ingredients

1 lb Ground sirloin

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed

1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

3 cups beef broth

2 cups frozen corn

1 cup thick and chunky mild salsa

1 T Chili Powder

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp salt

Directions

Salt the ground beef. Saute meat in dutch oven over medium heat.Add chili powder and cumin and stir for 1 minute.

Take 1/4 cup black beans and 1/4 red beans and puree in food processor. Add to meat mixture along with remaining ingredients.

Bring to a boil, turn down heat and simmer, uncovered for 30 minutes. Turn off heat, cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
