The Vegetarian Chili Recipe Page
Chili is not just for meat lovers anymore. A healthy vegetarian chili recipe is full of antioxidants and can be whipped up just as quickly and easily as any meat chili and still be packed with flavor.
The beauty of a vegetarian chili
is that you can add whatever vegetables and beans you want and it will taste delicious.
Use red beans, black beans, white beans or lentils. They are full of antioxidants. Include whatever vegetables are in your garden or in season. Experiment with different variations until you find the perfect one for you.
The vegetarian chili should be Your Way. It is so easy to make it your way. Take any of the recipes and add corn, zucchini, mushrooms, red, yellow and/or green pepper, carrots, sweet potato or what ever you want to try. One of our favorites is the Red Bean Chili.
And don't worry that your meat loving friends will not like it. These recipes are so packed with flavor they will not even notice unless you mention it. Their only comment will probably be "What a good chili recipe".
You can also include a variety of toppings on the side like raw yellow onions, green onions, guacamole, salsa. People can then pick and choose based on their likes, dislikes and other eating preferences.
